IT'S HAPPENING! Our New Clubhouse is Rising!

Hey Massey Archers,

Get ready to get excited! If you’ve been down to the range in the last few days, you’ve probably seen the biggest update yet on our new clubhouse.

We know everyone was anxiously watching the skies (and the ground!) after that frustrating spot of bad weather caused a small delay. But we’re thrilled to report that not even the rain could hold us back for long!

Milestone #1: The Foundation is SET!

Last week, the team got a clear window and the concrete foundation was officially poured and set! This was a massive step, laying the literal groundwork for our new club home. A huge thank you to the crew for getting this done.

Milestone #2: We Have a Skeleton!

As of this week, the really exciting work has begun.

The main metal framework of the clubhouse has been erected!

This is no longer just a plan on paper. You can now walk past and see the full size, shape, and height of our new building. It gives us the first real, tangible glimpse of what we’ve all been working towards, and honestly? It’s looking fantastic.

You can already start to picture where the new social area will be, where we'll store the gear, and where we'll celebrate all our future wins.

What's Next?

The crew is wasting no time. The very next phase is to add the front part of the structure to the main framework. This will really start to give the clubhouse its final shape and character.

We are beyond excited to see this vision coming to life. Thank you to everyone for your patience and support as we build the future of Massey Archery.

We've Broken Ground! Our New Clubrooms are Underway!

Exciting news from the range! Construction on our long-awaited new Massey Archery Club Clubrooms is officially underway.

The team has made fantastic progress, completing the crucial first phase of the build. The essential groundwork is now finished, which includes setting all the piles and installing the drainage. The earth foundation has also been perfectly compacted and smoothed, creating a solid base for our new home.

The site is now fully prepped and awaits a final council inspection. Once we get the green light, the next major milestone is pouring the concrete foundation! We're one huge step closer to having a new space to call our own.
